SALON POLICIES & ETIQUETTE

CREDIT CARD REQUIRED
Urban L Salon reserves the right to require a credit card on file at time of reservation to cover any fees associated with cancellations or no shows.
CANCELLATIONS
Your appointments are very important to Urban L Salon’s team members. Appointments are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully REQUIRE 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations after 48 hours prior to the appointment will be charged for 50% of the cost of the scheduled service. Multiple occurrences may result in service refusal. 
NO CALLS / NO SHOWS
If you do not contact us to cancel/reschedule and do not show up on the scheduled date and time of your appointment you will be charged 100% the cost of the service originally scheduled. Multiple occurrences may result in service refusal.
TARDINESS
If you are running late to your appointment, please call ahead to let us know. If you arrive beyond 15 minutes late, you may have to forfeit your appointment completely and a cancellation fee will apply.
CONFIRMATION TEXT/EMAIL
As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation text/email that you will need to reply to. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed/cancelled appointments and the cancellation fee.
DEPOSITS FOR KERATIN SERVICES
Deposits for Keratin Services will be forfeited in the event that 24 business hours’ notice is not given upon cancellation of appointment. Deposits for Keratin Services will be forfeited in the event of a No-Show.
PRODUCT/HAIR TOOL RETURN POLICY
Urban L Salon accepts product returns within a time period of 7 days. We ask that returned products are only gently used. Credit issued will be equal to the value of purchase. Hair tools such as blow dryers and flat irons must be returned, by you the client, directly through the manufacturer.
CELL PHONE COURTESY
For the consideration of yourself and other guests we ask that you please put on vibrate/silence your cellphone when visiting Urban L Salon.
CHILDREN/PETS

As a courtesy to all guests, unless scheduled for services we suggest that your children do not accompany you to your scheduled appointment for the relaxation of yourself and others. No pets are permitted in Urban L Salon.

REFUNDS

We DO NOT offer refunds of any kind. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your service, please notify Urban L Salon within one week of your appointment.

TIPPING POLICY

Gratuities are appreciated and accepted by Cash, Venmo, or Personal Check only.

*IT IS OUR PRIORITY TO CONDUCT THOROUGH CONSULTATIONS FOR ALL SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE SALON, HOWEVER IT IS EACH CLIENT'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO BE UPFRONT AND HONEST ABOUT THEIR HAIR HISTORY. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE HAIR AS A RESULT OF UNDIVULGED INFORMATION DURING THE CONSULTATION IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STYLIST OR URBAN L SALON. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.
